Welcome Home Jessi Mae Turner

Friday morning started off slow with an IV and the PIT. The Pit dialted me to a 4 and 50% effaced after 2 hours. I pushed off the epidural wanting to wait until the very last minute so I wasn't numb for so long. I've never sat through contractions like I did right before I received the epidural. Unfortunately right after I received the epidural they checked me and found out that I was at a 10 and ready to push. If I had known that, I would have tried to go "Pioneer Woman" but it was too late. I pushed for 1 hr and 15 minutes before we had a little girl in our arms. (they had to turn off the epidural right after I got it so I could feel something to be able to push properly, otherwise we probably would have had her about 2 hrs earlier) We left the hospital today after lunch and are both doing well. We've noticed some fun little things about her since she's been home. We'll try to blog about them soon. Until then, here's some fun pics.

Okay, I see the Redden (top) and Austin (bottom) thing. Rich, I think you are in for a treat having a little daddy's girl now. And she will love having older brothers. I always wanted a brother when I was a little girl, so I found a picture of Bing Crosby and told everyone he was my brother. Congratulations all of you...good job, Andrea.

Love those pictures! She looks so cute in pink. I also thought that pic of Rich and her snuggling was so sweet. There is nothing like seeing a daddy with his little girl!

Ah.. what a sweetheart. I can't believe she will be THREE MONTHS OLD by the time we get to see her. Does that make you as sad as it makes me?

congratulations! You will find having a girl is almost the best thing in the world. Analise and I just have a different bond than the boys. And I'm with the others. Enjoy these early days-

Any more pics? Love to see more of baby Jessi. So, while you nap and rest, make Rich clean the house, cook the meals, tend to the boys, and take pics of Jessi! Great idea...I know you love it Rich, just as much as your brother would! ;-)

Rich,

What an adorable family, I hope you can remember back 20 years ago. It is April Amidan Rhineheart from your old 5th ward sunday school class. Someone asked about you the other day, and I had a minute today so I google searched you and your brother, you are both pretty easy to find. I had fun learning about your family your wife does a great job on her blog. I am living back in Richland with my husband Justin( married Oct. 15, 1993) we just celebrated 15 years. We have four children Alexa(almost 14), Nicole (13), AJ (11 and our only son), and Kayla(8). Life is very busy and fun. My husband is a 6th grade Math teacher and Football and Baseball coach. I am a Project Coordinator for GEL labs, we do Handford work. I am currently primary president in the Crestview ward. My best friend is still Wendy Lichfield Christensen( if you remember her) she lives here with her husband Tory Christensen and their 3 kids. We hardly get out to see each other because of our busy lives. But, when we do we have a ton of fun. Matt Jenkins and his family came into town a couple of years ago, and we went to dinner with him and his wife, did you ever meet Matt. He is still very goofy and tall. Congrats on the new baby, she looks just precious. If you want to keep in touch my email is april.rhineheart@gel.com or jrhineheart@yahoo.com. Take care of your wonderful family. May god bless you.
