I was singing "we're off to see the Wizard the wonderful wizard of oz.... Austin says outloud "that movie is scary for me". I replied with "I love it" and he said very matter of factly..."but mom...the wizards face freaks me out". Love this kid.

This was a conversation that came up at dinner tonight.
Redden: Dad...do girls have whole brains and boys only have half of a brain?
Mom: jumping in quickly of course - Yep!
Dad: No...whoever told you that doesn't know what they're talking about.

Yesterday I went into Walgreens to pick up a prescription. They conveniently have a massage chair set up in there for people to sit on and try out while they wait. Yesterday he asked if he could sit in it and turn it on. I said yes go ahead. As I am called up to the register to pick up the meds, Austin shouts through the pharmacy... "Mom, Mom! It's workin' out my knuckles!". He had everyone rolling. There was a pregnant mother sitting on the chair next to him looking like she was gonna pop and I bet she was wondering what she had signed up for.

Me: "It is?...I don't think so we don't drink coffee...do we?"
Austin: "But mom!!!!...I cough so I need a drink coffee"
